Aida (fantastic Jasna Djuricic) works as a translator for the UN camp in Srebrenica in1995. At that time Serbians were at a point wherein they overtook Srebrenica. As they approach the village, thousands of Bosnians, among them Aida’s family members, try to enter the camp. Tension rises and Aida struggles to save her family. She’s desperate: what can she do? Her panic and concern are rising, knowing that the UN workers to whom she has been so loyal will likely not do enough. All of them are being stuck between the horrible enemy and a supposed ally who has no idea what to do. This compelling and heartbreaking film tells a story about the murder of thousands of innocent men but it also puts the story in a deeply human context.
