How do I get to Espoo
Cultural Centre, the main Festival venue?
The easiest way to reach Tapiola from Helsinki is by HSL (Helsinki
Region Transport)
buses. The bus numbers 105, 106, 109 and 110 travel from the Kamppi
public transport terminal to Tapiola (numbers marked with an additional
‘T’ travel via Lauttasaari). The bus numbers 194 and 195 travel from
the Eliel Square to Tapiola via Töölö and Munkkiniemi. It is also
possible to get to Tapiola from the mall Itäkeskus by bus number 550.

In the evenings and weekends, Espoo Ciné’s festival bus takes
passengers to Tapiola for free on a hourly basis. The timetable will be announced on this
website in August. In Helsinki the festival bus departs from Runebergin katu 2, in front of the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.

Where do I find Bio Rex Sello?
Bio Rex Sello (Ratsukatu
3, 02600 Espoo) is to be found in the shopping centre Sello,
located in Leppävaara, Espoo.
When will the ticket
sales begin?
Festival tickets can be bought online on the Festival website,
starting
on Monday 26 July 2010 at 12:00 noon. Click here to go to the online box office.
The advance ticket sales in the lobby of the Espoo Cultural Centre began on Monday 2 August 2010 at 12:00 noon.
Which payment
methods are accepted in the online shop? You can purchase your
tickets online by credit cards, eBanking
identifiers of Nordea, Sampo Pankki and Osuuspankki as well as Visa
Electron cards which have been registered for the Verified by Visa
service. (For more information on the service, contact your bank).
Which payment methods are accepted in the Espoo Ciné ticket
office
at the Espoo Cultural Centre? In the ticket office at the
Cultural Centre, the tickets can be
purchased by cash, Finnish debit cards, credit cards such as Visa or
MasterCard and Visa Electron.
Where can I buy screening passes and festival catalogues? When purchasing a screening pass, you will also get a catalogue. The pass includes 10 tickets and costs €60, on sale 2.-19.8. Screening passes are sold at Kino Tapiola (13.8.-) and the Espoo Ciné ticket desk at the Espoo Cultural Centre as well as in the following bookshops: Ateneumin kirjakauppa, Hansakujan tietokirja, Kaapelin Kirja, Kiasma-kauppa, Korjaamon kauppa, Kurvin Kirja, Like-kirjakauppa & Rosebud-kirjakauppa. You can also purchase only the catalogue (€3,50) at the same locations or, during the festival, at all festival venues.
Where in Tapiola can I park my
car? There are some parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the
Espoo
Cultural Centre, at Kulttuuriaukio (“cultural square”). The
Kaupinkallio car park (Kaupinkalliontie
7, 02100 Espoo) provides more
parking space. The car park is within a couple of minutes walk from the
Cultural Centre.
How can I submit my film to Espoo Ciné? Films
can be submitted to Espoo Ciné every year until 31 May. Please
find the entry regulations here.
Where
do I find Aurinkoterassi (sun terrace) where the open-air
screening takes place? Aurinkoterassi is located between the
Espoo Cultural Centre and the
Tapiola indoor swimming pool − to be exact, on the opposite side of
the Cultural Centre when standing at the main doors of the building.
