services
Espoo Ciné wants to make its
20th anniversary very special in many ways and has taken into account a
number of audience suggestions on how we could improve our
festival.
|  | Longer festival, more
screenings
Espoo Ciné 2009 lasts no less than ten
days. Films will be screened, besides the festival centre in Tapiola,
also in Leppävaara and Helsinki. This enables the much-desired re-runs
of screenings. All screening times can be found in the online box
office.

New methods of delivery: print
your tickets at home!
In the last years,
the online shop has proved to be the most popular method for purchasing
tickets. Online ticket prices are discounted and the online box office opens a week before the ticket sales in the festival centre does. This year, we
have two new delivery methods: tickets can be printed at home or delivered home by mail (please note that only tickets purchased until
16 Aug will be mailed home). Tickets purchased online can also be
collected from the festival
centre.

| Print tickets at
home
You can do ticket shopping as usual in our
online shop. Once you have tickets in your shopping cart and you
proceed to paying, you may choose the delivery method that suits you
most optimally. Would you choose to print your tickets at home, they
will be sent to your email as PDF files. (In order to open the files,
you need Adobe Acrobat Reader). Self-printed tickets allow you
immediate access to screenings. However, please note that no entrance to sold-out screenings can be granted after the screening has commenced.
Tickets home by mail (until 16
Aug)
Tickets purchased online can be ordered home by
mail. This home delivery experiment is our very first and it applies to
tickets purchased until 16 Aug, costing €2 per purchase (not per
ticket). The 2-euro postage will be added automatically to the price of
the online purchase if you choose to have your tickets delivered home
by mail.
Collect tickets from
festival centre
Of course, it is still possible to
collect the tickets the good old way from the specific online box
office pick-up counter at the Espoo Cultural Centre. Both the actual
box office and the pick-up counter serve during the advance ticket
sales 3–20 Aug on working days 12:00–18:00 (except Fri 7 Aug
12:00-17:00). During the festival, 21–30 Aug, they open daily 30
minutes prior to the day's first screening and remain open until the
day's last screening begins. Tickets purchased online can be collected
from the following day to the day of the screening in question.
However, we would kindly recommend collecting the tickets no later than
15 minutes prior to the screening to avoid a rush in the
office.

Priviledges with 10-ticket online
purchase
A 10-ticket online purchase at once
entitles you to a free festival catalogue. With a purchase larger than
20 tickets, you will receive an Espoo Ciné bag and with a 25-ticket
one-time purchase, a festival T-shirt! The bonus products can be
collected during the festival in the festival merchandise by presenting
the purchase
confirmation.
