"Bad Day to Go Fishing" is the story of Jacob van Oppen, a wrestler nearing the end of his career and touring small South American villages together with his manager Orsini. Brechner's debut feature film is an exquisitely shot, full-blooded art film somehow reminiscent of the melancholy of the films by the Kaurismäki brothers in its tone.
